Cricket! Other television! As opposed to Friday night Nine News (1st – 1,349,000) pulled the benefit of the first ODI cricket being on, rain affected though it was. The evening session did bring good numbers though – One Day Cricket – Australia v India Game 1 Session 2 (2nd – 1,335,000). Good news for Ch10 with their Super Sunday all rating above one million again (even against the cricket) – Young Talent Time (8th – 1,000,000), Modern Family (5th – 1,189,000), New Girl (4th – 1,240,000) and Homeland (7th – 1,109,000). The return of Mike Willesee to Sunday Night (9th – 988,000) helped but it suffered cricket affected ratings, as did the 7:30pm/8pm pairing of Border Security (11th – 970,000) and The Force (12th – 944,000). Suburgatory launched with decent enough numbers (306,000) to have it lead the digital multi-channel shows for a Sunday night.
