Ch7’s Christmas With The Stars

Christmas programs are usually quite naff. Overly sentimental and usually too northern hemispheric (far too much snow). At least by offering us hosts like Kylie Gillies and David Campbell the program should be a bunch of fun! From the press release:

Hosted by the The Morning Show’s Kylie Gillies and entertainer David Campbell, Christmas with the Stars offers ideas to make Christmas entertaining easy. Bringing viewers the best in cooking, decorating and gifts, Christmas with the Stars will air on Sunday, December 11 at 6.30pm on the Seven Network.

Christmas with the Stars features My Kitchen Rules winners Sammy and Bella sharing a delicious BBQ prawn recipe that’s ready in minutes, plus their cheat’s version of a traditional Christmas cake that normally takes six weeks to make.

Better Homes and Gardens’ decorating dynamo Tara Dennis shows simple projects to dress up your Christmas table and Tom Williams shares his top tips for using Christmas lights. Singer Damien Leith hunts for the best Christmas presents under $30 and Home and Away’s Lynne McGranger tells why this Christmas is extra special for her.

Host David Campbell is looking forward to an Aussie Christmas this year, “Mainly because my wife is English and her father will be visiting from England, it will be a dream come true to them to be able to spend a Christmas by the beach.”

    I loved the show, wondering where I could get the details of how to make the red flowers that Tara made for the Christmas table with tissue paper.

        Hi I have made 6 of them they are very easy, if you goole “paper Flowers” you willfind them. I havae done 2 large 2 med 2 small to hang over 2 tables. I alos use two different kinds of Tissue paper. GOOD LUCK from the gold coast

      Hi Robyn, It would be worth checking out New Idea or Better Homes and Gardens. I don’t have access to the recipies.
