Channel 9 has confirmed to this website that the Auctions for this series of The Block Fans Vs Faves will occur on Tuesday the 8th of April. Results of the Auctions will then be broadcast on Wednesday the 9th of April.
In ratings terms this series of The Block: Fans vs Faves has held it’s own against the might of powerhouse My Kitchen Rules regularly rating over 1 Million viewers. Nine will be hoping the finale will provide it with a much needed boost, Last years finale of The Block Sky High had 2,132 Million Viewers.
This series of The Block: Fans vs Faves has seen a mix of past and new contestants converting the old Dux Theatre in Melbourne’s Albert Park into four three-bedroom, three-bathroom, loft-style apartments.
A vacant shell, The old Dux building had no internal walls, no floors, no roof and no plumbing.
“It’s the biggest, toughest Block challenge we’ve ever set our contestants,” says host Scott Cam.
