Tenplay and Foxtel Play now available on Xbox without a Gold Subscription

Xbox One and Xbox 360 users no longer need an Xbox Live Gold membership to access Network Ten’s  digital platform, tenplay or subscription service Foxtel Play.

Now available with any Xbox Live subscription, the tenplay platform – available on web, mobile, tablets and smart TVs – provides access to Network Ten’s catch-up video platform.

The announcement comes as part of a series of changes to Xbox Live to bring more value to customers.

The tenplay app gives Xbox One and Xbox 360 users access to TEN, ELEVEN and ONE shows on-demand, straight after they have appeared on television, as well as real-time viewing, with live streaming of news and sporting events.

Users can also earn exclusive artwork and badges by watching their favourite shows, watch programming at the same time as playing games or using other apps, and take advantage of the features offered by Xbox 360 to navigate the app with their voice or gestures via Kinect.

Foxtel Play enables subscribers to choose where and when to be entertained. Foxtel Play streams TV over the internet, and offers great content across a range of different devices whether you’re enjoying Live TV or catching up on a TV episode or movie on demand.Foxtel Play works with all models of the Xbox 360 and requires an internet connection with a speed of at least 3.0 Mbps to stream content. New customers can access a 14 day free* trial.

Foxtel Play packages feature over 45 live channels including Fox Sports 1, 2 and 3, Foxtel Movie channels, showcase, FOX8, Arena, Lifestyle, History, Discovery, A&E, National Geographic, UKTV, FX, SoHo, MTV, Universal Channel, ESPN, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Disney Channel. Foxtel Play is a great way to catch the latest hit programs like Game of Thrones, Wentworth and starting 26 June, Falling Skies season 4.

With no lock-in contract and no installation costs, subscribers can stop and start their subscription month-to-month, to suit their circumstances or viewing choices.

Foxtel Play customers also have access to Foxtel Go* as part of their subscription. In addition to their primary device, customers can register Foxtel Go on up to two additional devices including selected iPads and iPhones and selected Samsung Android tablets and smartphones.
