Of course the final of The Voice Australia (Finale: 1st – 1,663,000; Winner: 2nd – 1,578,000) was going to take the night – but it was well down on past finales. It didn’t even crack 2 million. Seven rolling over meant it got all the attention though and allowed MasterChef Australia (7th – 1,165,000) to slide up and build some momentum to it’s finale next week. MOVIE: The Avengers (21st – 563,000) didn’t end up really competing with anything except Q&A (23rd – 537,000).
