The final Sunday of the 2011 ratings year went out with a bang for Channel 9, with Channel 7 not far behind. Both Sunday Night (Ch7) & 60 Minutes (Ch9) were strong, as was Frozen Planet (Ch9). The two hour finale for Wild Boys suffered – the best it managed was 860,000 viewers averaged across the two hours. Channel 10’s highest rated program Junior MasterChef slotted in at 8th for the night (845,000) and only three other programs made it into the Top 20 for the network. The Big Bang Theory continues to rate well for GO! (347,000), head and shoulders above the nearest rival Escape to the Country on 7Two. The Cricket: SA vs AUS again featured prominently on subscription TV.

Channel 9 won the night (21.5%), followed by Channel 7 (20.7%), Channel 10 (14.2%) & ABC1 (12.2%).
