It’s not that Border Security (4th – 1,037,000) or The Force (3rd – 1,095,000) are bad shows as much as the audience needs to be retrained… Recipe to Riches (???) went begging – though perhaps the audience actually are over cooking shows for the moment? There was suitable interest in the season finale of Under The Dome (11th – 857,000) and Ten Eyewitness News (16th – 608,000). Million Dollar Minute (17th – 604,000) slides as expected but still beats Hot Seat (20th – 576,000), yet still gives Seven News (1st – 1,189,000) the edge over Nine News (2nd – 1,184,000) by the smallest of margins despite Nine’s triumph in SYD/MEL/BNE. The premiere of Sleepy Hollow (19th – 597,000) wins the timeslot for Ten (but don’t expect that to continue).
Timeslot winners (nationally):
6:00pm: Seven News – Ch7
6:30pm: A Current Affair – Ch9
7:00pm: ABC News – ABC1
7:30pm: Border Security/The Force – Ch7
8:30pm: Winners and Losers – Ch7
9:30pm: Sleepy Hollow – Ch10
Channel 7 won the night (22.4%), followed by Channel 9 (18.8%), Channel 10 (14.7%) & ABC1 (13.8%).
Hi Steve, I enjoyed Sleepy Hollow, but halfway thru I got Sleepy and fell aSleep. Then I woke up to find the HH still terrorizing Sleepy Hollow so I watched until I got Sleepy again. I slept well.
